10- Week Wrap Plan
The Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) is a personalized, evidence-based self-help program designed to assist individuals in managing mental health challenges and enhancing overall well-being.
WRAP is structured around several key components:
Wellness Toolbox: A compilation of personal resources and strategies that promote well-being.
Daily Maintenance Plan: A routine plan to maintain mental health and stability.
Identifying Triggers and Early Warning Signs: Recognizing external events or internal signals that may indicate a decline in wellness.
Crisis Plan: A predetermined guide outlining steps to take when facing a mental health crisis.
Post-Crisis Plan: Strategies to regain stability and prevent future crises after experiencing a mental health challenge.
These components are designed to be highly individualized, addressing the unique needs of each person and their situation.
For those interested in developing their own Wellness Recovery Action Plan, a 10-week WRAP course is available. This comprehensive program guides participants through the process of creating a personalized WRAP, offering support and guidance at each step. The course is facilitated by trained professionals who have personal experience with WRAP, providing a supportive environment for learning and growth. Participants will learn about the history and parts of WRAP, as well as create their own plan to manage distressing symptoms and promote wellness.
By the end of the course, participants will have a complete, individualized action plan to support their mental health and well-being. This course is suitable for anyone seeking to make positive changes in their life, regardless of their current mental health status.
